As Annie and Connor adjust to their new surroundings, they make new friends and become involved in complicated romantic relationships. Annie becomes caught between Rory and Ellis, while Connor begins questioning the story he has always been told about his family and starts investigating his biological origins.
Their lives change when they meet Ramona, a young woman who turns out to have a much deeper connection to them than they initially realize. The siblings eventually discover that Ramona is their half-sister and that she is the biological daughter of Steven and Goldie.
