THE Tearsmith, 2024 (Top 10 Netflix)

The Tearsmith (Italian: Fabbricante di lacrime) is a 2024 Italian teen romance film directed by Alessandro Genovesi, based on the novel of the same name by Erin Doom. It was released on Netflix on 4 April 2024.

PLOT

A young girl, Nica, is left orphaned after her parents die in a car accident. She is taken to the oppressive Sunnycreek Orphanage, nicknamed "Grave," where she befriends a girl named Adeline. Years later, Nica, now a teenager, is adopted by Anna and Norman Milligan. Before the three leave the orphanage, however, the Milligans take notice of Rigel, a moody teenager who is the pride and joy of the headmistress, Margaret. Although resistant to adoption in the past, Rigel allows the Milligans to adopt him. At their new home, Rigel is hostile towards Nica. Flashbacks reveal that, at Grave, all of the children except Rigel were physically and emotionally abused by Margaret.

On their first day of school, Nica befriends two girls named Billie and Miki, while Rigel gets into a fist fight with another student, Phelps. Later, the students participate in Garden Day, whereby each student gets a rose to give anonymously to another student. Billie receives a white rose, while Nica receives a black rose, signifying a tormented and obsessive love. Nica confronts Rigel about the rose and he denies giving it to her. A student named Lionel asks Nica out on a date, and Rigel looks on angrily, later getting into a fist fight with him. Nica admonishes Rigel for his behavior and he has a seizure, leaving Nica to care for him. The two share a romantic moment.

Flashbacks to the orphanage reveal that on one occasion that Nica was about to be punished by Margaret, Rigel cut his own hand to disrupt her. Adeline suspected that Rigel had feelings for Nica, and Rigel told her to keep this a secret.

Nica finds out that Miki is secretly in love with Billie, and urges her to confess her feelings. Lionel confronts Nica about avoiding his calls and tells her that he still has feelings for her, despite Rigel trying to intervene.

Adeline visits the Milligan home and tells Nica that she wants to press charges against Margaret, and she needs Nica's testimony to build a strong case. Nica declines, unable to face her own past. That night, Nica finds Rigel playing the piano, and the two are about to kiss when Lionel interrupts at the door. Lionel suspects that Nica and Rigel have feelings for one another, and tells her that people would not approve of their relationship. Nica returns to Rigel, but he tells her that he is too broken for her and that she deserves a normal family and boyfriend.

Rigel tells Anna that he is rejecting their adoption, and he packs up his belongings and leaves the house. Elsewhere, before their school dance, Miki confesses her feelings to Billie and Billie storms out of the room. At the dance, Lionel apologizes to Nica and they dance together. He brings her to the science classroom, where he attempts to sexually assault her. Rigel, having had second thoughts about missing the dance, intervenes and fights Lionel off. Nica and Rigel kiss and have sex in the classroom.

After leaving the dance, Nica and Rigel are confronted by a furious Lionel, who berates them and tries to run them over with his car. They escape him by jumping off a bridge into a river. Nica wakes up in the hospital where she is told that Rigel's body broke her fall and that he is in a coma, further complicated by the brain neuromas he suffers from. Nica wishes to see him, but he is now under the custody of Margaret, having rejected the Milligans' adoption. Margaret blames Nica for Rigel's coma and tells her that she will keep her away from him forever. Nica, now defiant, agrees to testify against Margaret. Afterward, with Margaret still in court, Nica rushes back to the hospital where Rigel finally wakes up from the coma.

THE Society, 2019

The Society is an American mystery teen drama television series created by Christopher Keyser, that was released via streaming on Netflix on May 10, 2019. It stars Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon, Sean Berdy, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jacques Colimon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jose Julian, Alexander MacNicoll, Toby Wallace and Rachel Keller. Although it was initially renewed for a second season, it was ultimately canceled after one season as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Society follows the story of a group of teenagers who must learn to run their own community after the rest of the population of their town (West Ham, Connecticut) disappears. The mystery begins when the students of the local high school return early from a canceled field trip and find that everyone else is gone. A dense forest appears surrounding the town; the outside world apparently no longer exists and cannot be contacted by telephone or Internet. The teenagers must come up with their own rules to survive with limited resources. 

The group of students of the Connecticut high school were kidnapped to a town that is exactly the same town they were living before with one difference, their parents disappeared. The town was completely empty. 

There they learn how to live together and after face the death of Cassandra, the first ruler, they create their own law. Allie, her sister start to rule and in the end her rivals take the power by force. 

One of the suspects is this bus driver below. 

In the end of the movie shows that they found a suitable land to cultivate and one of their parents reading Peter Pan for some children with their names in the wall, like they were dead. I believe they did this to their own good, to create a new society. 

Has some interesting topics to observe such as abusive relationships, how to start a democratic society, and the insurgence of Anarchy. 

Cursed, 2020

Their Land is ruled by a powerful root of the trees. Who is born with these gifts are persecuted and killed by the Paladins. They burned hundreds of people in each village of the United Kingdom, claiming that is in the name of GOD. Love is the most important commandment of GOD, so, I doubt that this was a working in the name of God. 

These Stones has inscriptions warning people where they are and what they may face. 

The Sky reacted immediately showing them 3 Crowns 👑👑👑, the God's Trinity message. God and two Angels. 

So, there I saw Troy of the Fear the Walking Dead, and I was very disappointed because he became a cold assassin. In the end he spared a child's life, however I don't know if I believe him after it. 

About the race of the Paladins I was thinking that was a kind of mixed race enterprise, but I saw different races including many whites. The Bishop is white himself. 

The forests has different kinds of people and skin abnormalities because of the food or the absence of it. It's very clear that they eat a lot of herbal from the trees. But the trees only respond to the chosen ones, maybe the ones who ingested enough properties to become part of the trees to invoque them or just because they have good heart to judge and use it wisely. It's the Nature's power in action. 

I understand that the followers of God can understand this as blasfemy, but it's not. It's just a way of the nature to defend itself and everyone who is part of that environment. 

The Sky drew 3 crowns, after it rained blood. Merlin saw everything. 

In another burn time Nimue evoked help and the Cloud helped her extinguishing the fire. After it they named her the Queen of the Fey. They are really nice people in my conception, very united. 

After she evoked, the Red Paladins that were persecuting her all died by the branches of the tree. 

Merlin also had the sword's power but he lost it after a series of Assassination. Nimue's mother took the sword out of Merlin's body and it seems that Nimue is his daughter.

4X in Nimue's hands, any suggestions of what it can be? It appeared after the killing. She felt weak for using her powers. 

The Paladins have a map of all the villages that they will gonna burn. 

In this Kingdom has also the Vikings that are against the Fey's Queen and the King Uther who is ruling another part of the Kingdom. The King is not the legitimate son of his mother, so, after discover it he killed her. 

After it in the Episode 10 they had a battle against the Vikings and many died. 

Nimue was knocked by two Arrows from a little girl called Iris. Merlin was with her and suffered a lot watching Nimue falling in the waterfall. The Series ended with the Baptism of Iris to be the new warrior of the Red Palatians. 

Then he disapeared in the middle of the Thunder. 

There is a lot of things to see in only 10 episodes.

The Huntsman: Winters War, 2016

Warriors Eric and Sara fight to survive the wrath of Queen Freya, an evil sorceress, and her sister, Ravenna, while trying to conceal their feelings for each other.

This black matter that appears in the body of the Queen Ravenna is one of the most interesting things on this movie. Goblins also exist, but in my conception they are monkeys that suffered a kind of curse. 

In my other blog i commented about the black matter that has the appearance of Petrol, in the movie RAIN, 2020. It's a kind of black matter that is present in the Forests of United Kingdom. In this part below you can see a kind of fire in the Arrow, she took this petrol and with fire and you can have light at night for example. This black matter was also used in the Series 100, where USA developed a device that contain this matter and they inject it in the body, giving people some kind of immunity or maybe immortality. The mirror used by the Queen Ravenna maybe is a kind of camouflage for the movie, or maybe there is such device. It seems that Merlin, from the movie King Arthur really died. He was the father of the baby of the Queen Freya. Ravenna bewitched him and he killed their newborn baby. That's why Queen Freya became the snow Queen, after this loss her heart became cold. In the end she redeemed herself saving Sara, Eric and her others children, like she said.  

Sara is also in the movie AVA, where she is an assassin, she is a fighter (killer) in the real life in my conception as well Eric, or Thor. 

In this movie showed also a kind of Fairies flying. Little humans flying in my conception, they are all so nice. Loved it. 

The lesson here is the Forests in United Kingdom may have a lot of different beings and magic.

Underworld: Blood Wars, 2016

Underworld: Blood Wars is a 2016 action horror film directed by Anna Foerster from a screenplay by Cory Goodman, based on a story by Kyle Ward and Goodman. It is the sequel to Underworld: Awakening (2012) and the fifth installment in the Underworld film series. The film stars Kate Beckinsale, as Selene, Theo James, as David, Lara Pulver, as Samira, Bradley James as Vargas,  Tobias Menzies as Lycan Marious, James Faulkner, as Cassius, and Charles Dance as Thomas. 

This movie is really challenging. We have Vampires vs Lycans, the werewolves. If you ask me if i believe in Lycans, fact is i never saw one, but in vampire i believe because i saw. 

Lets present a simple fact, the death of Lara Pulver, Samira, she doesn't have official Instagram and in the movie she died. If you take a look in all her photos, everything is in old quality. Another one that died was Thomas, David's father, he was the vampire that was living in a cage until the vampire Luke Evans of Dracula Untold appears and give him blood, he recovered his beauty and went to the city in London in the daylight together with his wife, Sara Gadon, Mirena. 

Usually, when we take pictures, has two white sparkles in the eyes, in this picture she doesn't.

Samira and Vargas, the king Arthur, Bradley James. James survived and is living a normal life. On his Instagram is very clear that he has friends but his way to look is a little enigmatic, like he carries a heavy secret, a certain kind of sadness. I believe that he also doesn't have the white dots in the eyes. 

In this photo we don't see the white dots. It can happens when they take a lot of blood. Also he is showing what happened to him. 

Kate Beckinsale also acts very strange, she made some videos extracting blood of some people in her house. If they got out alive is another history. 

For me this is her confession that she lost her Vital Life in the eyes, the two white dots in the eyes.

PLOT

The remaining vampire covens are on the verge of annihilation by the Lycans. Both species are searching for Selene: the vampires seek justice for the death of Viktor, while the Lycans, led by Marius, intend to use her to locate Eve, whose blood holds the key to building an army of vampire-werewolf hybrids.

Semira, a council member of the Eastern Coven, asks Thomas to plead Selene's case before the council. The plea is successful and the council reluctantly agrees to a pardon in exchange for Selene's help. Selene arrives with David and starts training the coven's neophyte Death Dealers for the upcoming war. Semira and Varga, her ally and lover, later poison Selene, slaughter the trainees and frame her for the atrocity. With Selene in her custody, Semira begins draining her blood, intending to drink it to steal her power. Thomas and David attempt a rescue and manage to save Selene. Unfortunately, Thomas dies in the process.

David and Selene take refuge at the Nordic Coven, pursued by Alexia, an Eastern Coven vampire dispatched by Semira. At Var Dohr, the Nordic Coven stronghold, Elder Vidar reveals that David is the son of Grand Elder Amelia. She and Thomas were in love but were forced to hide their relationship and David's true origins due to Victor's extreme jealousy and possessiveness over Amelia. This makes David the legitimate heir to the Eastern Coven.

Meanwhile, Alexia tells Marius, her secret lover, that Selene is going to the Nordic Coven. Marius and his Lycans attack Var Dohr to get her. Selene and David fight alongside the Nordic vampires, who are led by Vidar's daughter Lena. During the fight, Alexia stabs Selene. Marius demands to know Eve's location, but finds out Selene does not know, so he sounds the retreat. Selene deliberately drowns under the broken ice of the lake, telling herself that 'my time is done'.

At the Eastern Coven, Semira drinks the blood taken from Selene. Alexia returns and informs her of the attack at the Nordic Coven. Semira kills Alexia, telling her that she knew of her secret alliance with Marius. David returns to the Eastern Coven, presents himself as its rightful heir and denounces Semira. Even Varga deserts her, saying his loyalty is to the rightful leader. She is led off to be imprisoned in her room.

The coven comes under attack by Marius and his forces. The Lycans blow holes in the castle's walls, letting in sunlight and killing some vampires. David continues fighting, even using himself to shield several young fighters, to the shock and admiration of Varga. He however finds himself face to face with Marius. Selene suddenly reappears, now Nordic in appearance and wearing a coat over her Death Dealer uniform. It turns out that she was resurrected by the Nordic Coven and now has new powers, including enhanced speed. She swiftly dispatches the Lycans, as the Nordic Coven joins the fight.

As Selene makes her way through the castle, Semira escapes from her room and kills the guards. Selene and David find Marius, but David is waylaid by Semira. During the fight, a drop of Marius' blood lands on Selene's lips and she is suddenly flooded by his memories. She sees Marius capturing Michael Corvin and slitting his throat to collect his blood and consume it. To counter her despair over Michael's death, she bites her own wrist, accessing her own blood memories of time spent with him. Selene then rips out Marius' spine, killing him instantly. Meanwhile, David manages to kill Semira. He shows Marius' severed head to the Lycans and calls on them to collect their wounded and retreat.

In the aftermath, Selene, David, and Lena are chosen as new Elders. It is revealed that after her resurrection at the Nordic Coven, Selene was reunited with Eve, who had been following her mother through their telepathic link, as she had anticipated.

Blumshouse Fantasy Island, 2020

Fantasy Island, also known as Blumhouse's Fantasy Island, is a 2020 American supernatural horror film directed and co-written by Jeff Wadlow. Serving both as a horror reimagining and a prequel to ABC's 1977 television series of the same name, it stars Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, Portia Doubleday, and Michael Rooker and follows a group of people who, while visiting the eponymous island, discover that their dream-like fantasies brought to life begin to turn into horrific living nightmares and they must try to survive.

A mysterious man invites a group of lucky guests to his magical island to fulfil their darkest fantasies, there is a fountain there that makes wishes come true, like to bring back people to life for example. However, when people start enjoy the island, some assassins show up and start to kill the people. Then the assassins who die come back to life. 

Michael Rooker, as Damon was also in the island investigating something and scaped into the forest, later he met two girls that were scaping from the immortal assassin. 

The movie was filmed in the Lockdown period. 

The name of the island could be Bones island, Nose island?

Jimmy O Yang in the right, an american comedian remained in the island to work as employee, since he wished his brother to come back to life, that's the price he will pay, but in fact, he wished this so his brother can come back to rescue him, for what it seems he is still there.  

Jimmy appeared now in March on his Instagram with his father, if is Photoshop I don't know.
